KUWAIT-IRAQ BORDER - Marines from Explosive Ordnance Disposal use an M-14 sniper rifle to sight in on land-mines on a road near to the Kuwait-Iraq border March 20. Police gaurding the border provided the intelligence about the mines to the Marines of Delta Company, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion is part of the 1st Marine Division based out of Camp Pendleton, Calif., here in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, elliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
