Mass Graves - Approximately 11,000 skeletal remains
An Iraqi man sits amid bags containing human remains exhumed Saturday from a mass grave site near Mahaweel, Iraq. According to locals, about a decade ago Saddam's regime started to bring people, murder and bury them in this location. Approximately 11,000 skeletal remains from men, women and children have been found here.
