President Bush receives a briefing today from Coast Guard Capt. Dave Callahan on the status of helicopter operations staged out of the Coast Guard base here. The president arrived at the Coast Guard Aviation Training Center in Mobile and spoke with state and federal officials prior to departing on a helicopter overflight to further assess the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
