New Orleans (Sept. 3, 2005) Ð An Army National Guard Solider helps an injured New Orleans citizen prior to helping her into a waiting bus after being stranded for three nights at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown New Orleans. The Army National Guard have been mobilized to take part in Joint Task Force Katrina, a humanitarian assistance operation in a joint effort led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
