New Orleans, Orleans Parish LA 9-14-05Mary a 81 year old refused to leave till her son and FEMA Task Force 1 Urban Search & Rescue Team came to help her leave. It was not easy... she was determined to stay no matter what. At one point she told her son to give her one last tearful hug. She was finally convinced by all the team members that they were concerned for her safety. The Nevada TF-1 team managed to also rescue one of her cats. Here Mary is locking her door.
