SIP05DN-SD-06-05758 US Navy (USN) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40 (NMCB-40), drive a Freightliner truck loaded with a 750-kilowatt generator through the streets of New Orleans to the Naval Support Activity East Bank New Orleans. The Navy's active participation in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DoD).
