Less than 24-hours after Hurricane Katrina passed through, the US Navy (USN) Sailors at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) New Orleans, Louisiana (LA), brought these utility boats back online. The boats ferry personnel and supplies across the Mississippi River providing critical personnel and supplies to the east bank to ensure the security of NAS JRB facilities.
