Onboard a US Army (USA) UH-1 Huey, Wisconsin Army National Guard (WIARNG) Sergeant (SGT) Eric Leuckert, Flight Medic, 832nd Medical Company (Air Ambulance), WIARNG, West Bend, Wisconsin (WI), searches for survivors over the flooded streets of downtown New Orleans, Louisiana (LA), in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Hurricane made landfall near Buras, LA, on August 29th 2005 with winds up to 230km/h and by the following day had broken two New Orleans levees covering 80 percent of the city with water from nearby Lake Pontchartrain.
