New Orleans, LA 3-13-06 -fema/illinoisphoto.com- Volunteers from the University of Alaska at Fairbanks and Rotaract carry out a refrigerator to the curb for disposal.College students from around the country came to New Orleans to help clean up during spring break instead of partying and play an important in the recovery process. FEMA is housing as many of the College Student volunteers as possible in four base camps in and around New Orleans. These base camps are being expanded to accommodate more volunteers.
